Hamilton's demento blues duo Frankie & Jimmy have a lot goin' on these days. This month they take off for a tour across the prairies to BC and back and will be finishing up their second LP once they return. In the meantime they have released a three song EP titled "Death Letter EP". The title track being a cover of a Son House track and also done by the White Stripes. "Sweet Home Chicago" is another blues tune done in classic Frankie & Jimmy style which featues Frankie on the porchboard bass and slide guitar while Jimmy howls and blasts harmonica. "Saint James Infirmary Blues" is done with full band which adds a nice flavor to the tail end of this EP. Check their facebook page for tour details. Go see em and get some of their homemade "Frankie & Jimmy Burn Your Blues Away" Hot Sauce...excellent for the BBQ season. - Kris Gies
