Named after one of the greatest Simpson’s episodes of all time; Tomacco is a funky 4 piece garage band from Toronto. Their latest single “Mister Twister” shows off all their goods. The rhythm keeps the funk goin’ while the keys add a psychedelic tone to the track. It has an early 90’s vibe that makes me think Tomacco would fit in on the same bill as Blood Sugar Sex Magik era Chili Peppers and Ugly Kid Joe perhaps. Their EP “Vagabond” is available now. They will be playing The Atria in Oshawa on September 20^th alongside Revive the Rose, The Hostiles, The Jailbirds and No Service. – Kris Gies
