The Crowleys are a psychedelic pop-rock band from Hamilton. They have figured out a way to effectively master that lo-fi garage sound while keeping the quality high and melodies catchy. Their new single “Clarice” has duel vocals and a medium paced jangle. The lyrics touch on “the uncertainty within yourself when dealing with mental health issues”. The Crowleys play This Ain’t Hollywood in Hamilton on November 6^th along with Hot Garbage and Simply Saucer. – Kris Gies

Hamilton psych rockers The Crowleys have dropped a new single “Pink Rainbows”. This tune takes a softer approach than what these fellas have done in the past. An acoustic guitar strums away in the background as a groovy bassline gets you lost in lazy vocals. Reverby lead guitar strums and picks away in its own world as the tune comes together near the end with a trippy solo when the drums kick in. All this before an even newer phase of the song kicks in and a happy piano plays you away. Very cool tune. The Crowleys will be opening for Spaceface at The Baby G on Friday February 2^nd. – Kris Gies 

Space-Pysch rockers The Crowleys have released a brand new single “LA Sunset”. The intro feels like you might be driving into a summer sunset as the jangly reverb guitars float along. They fade away and slowly hammer into a very groovy beat. This must be after the sunset and we’re hitting the streets lookin for a good time. It’s almost mixin’ in some disco which is a wicked combo alongside their usual garage vibes. Very cool tune with some interesting dynamics. The Crowleys just played the Night Owl Festival supporting Shannon & the Clams, next up for them is DIY festival Hollowfest in Lanark from September 29th to October 2nd. – Kris Gies
