Cold Fronts

New Track: "Buschleague" - Cold Fronts

Good news from the Cold Fronts camp! After patiently/impatiently waiting for the green-light from Sire Records, the band's full-length album, Forever Whatever, now has a release date of October 23. You can also take a listen to their new track, "Buschleague," from the forthcoming LP, over at Consequence of Sound, and enjoy the single's artwork (above) with frontman Craig Almquist keeping it classy!

New Track: "Lights On" - Grave Goods (featuring Cold Fronts)

Listen to “Lights On” a collaborative song between Cold Fronts and producer Grave Goods aka Zach Sewall. Solemn keys and confessional vocals are kicked into a high gear when a siren’s echo and driving percussion lift it out of the darkness. Self-aware observations play off that accelerated beat, setting those thoughts into danceable motion.

Cold Fronts Opening for River City Extension at Boot & Saddle April 16

Cold Fronts close out their tour fun with River City Extension tonight at Boot & Saddle. As we await the full-length LP that will be available via Sire Records, the band continues to deliver its brand of contagious rock. These songs are the type that makes you yearn for warm temperatures and cold beers with their loose, Velcro-style lyrics and clean, snapping grooves. Take those vital pop-rock ingredients and charge it with guitar solos that demand higher decibels, and you have the right soundtrack to welcome in this beautiful weather. Cold Fronts paves the way to the eclectic yet leveled, heartfelt tunes generated by Toms River, New Jersey natives River City Extension. They'll be headlining in support of their new LP Deliverance (Anchor & Hope Music). Boot & Saddle, 1131 S. Broad St., $18, 8pm, 21+ - Michael Colavita

New Track: "Baby Haim" - Cold Fronts

Cold Fronts' Craig Almquist lays it on the line, and declares his love for Alana Haim, a.k.a. @babyhaim on social media, the youngest of the sister group HAIM, in the band's latest single "Baby Haim." There is also a lyric video coming in just case there is any confusion about these words. Hopefully he'll find a pop-rock love connection. Cold Fronts will be doing a run of shows with The Cribs before heading down to SXSW. They'll also be touring with River City Extension in April, and will close things out with a hometown show on Thursday, April 16 at Boot & Saddle.

New Video: "Hit Me" (Out Of Town Films) - Cold Fronts

As we anticipate the release of their debut LP via Sire Records, Cold Fronts stopped by Berks Warehouse to record a session for Out Of Town Films. This performance of “Hit Me,” found on their latest EP Forever, incorporates the band’s excellent grip on high-energy heartfelt rock. Blending a bass-churning groove with sweet slices of guitar that freely run, you’ll want to play it more than once. (Photo by Megan Mat)
