nutrients - New Jangly Soul Track from Lo-Fi Veterans "such slime"

Lo-fi and lower case centric band nutrients have released a brand new single “such slime”. This tune begins with a slacker dream pop vibe before blossoming into a wonderful mix of soul and jangly indie rock. The video gives off old school feelings with production that could confuse one into thinking it’s a tune from the 70s. nutrients next gig is at The Garrison on October 27th with Quaker Parents opening for Omni. – Kris Gies

Dreamy lo-fi dissonance on Nutrients' new album

Back in September, Nutrients released their chilled out full-length debut, 'what tangled webs we weave.' The album is full of dreamy slacker pop that combines easy listening with deliberate dissonance. It can veer from shimmery to unsettling in a heartbeat, but it still sounds remarkably cohesive. The band clearly set out with a vision when they made the album, fine-tuning their focus with a stream of live appearances in October and November. Watch for more shows in the new year. - David Levy
