New Track: "Exposure" - Remote Control

Philly darkwave trio Remote Control just shared its official debut single. The heart-pounding, low-end synths of "Exposure" gets you right from the gate. The guitar rings out beckoning for the macabre combination of vocals to emerge. Be warned: "Winter is coming," and you can find "Exposure" on the band's upcoming EP Wasteland. It is also now available on limited edition cassette and digital format (below), which is accompanied by a remix from Crash Course In Science.

Jess Audrey and more perform at Brooklyn Bazaar's BASSment on 10.21

Five electronic producers/DJs hit Brooklyn Bazaar for WAXX's monthly event BASSment on October 21.

The showcase includes producer and visual artist JessAudrey, as well as WAXX residents Noah B, KLM, Rubie Lee, and Chase Jam.

The lineup's stylings range across a varied spectrum of hip-hop & bass, dreamy electronica, disco grooves, and more. Should make for a fun night out.

Siren Section release video for "Ground Descending," new album out 10/24

Siren Section have captured the essence of electronic music and its different permutations for a variety of projects. But what hasn't changed for the duo is their undying friendship, and on their latest offering, New Disconnect, that experience has allowed them to reach their creative peak. Their intricate beat constructions are best exemplified on "Ground Descending," a surging industrial ballad anchored by an immersive display of frostbitten synths.

New Disconnect will be self-released on October 24 via their official bandcamp page. Watch the stunning video for "Ground Descending" below.

Jill Peacock serves up soulful electro tunes + plays Pianos on 10.22

NYC transplant (by the way of Toronto), Jill Peacock, may not have the ostentatious fervor of the bird who shares her name, but her music might give you a reason to strut like one. Her self-titled EP is 5-tracks worth of engaging soul-pop that prominently displays her effortless vocals against minimalist R&B instrumentals. It's a release that will tempt even the most rigid listeners to head-bob along to the velvety beats. Stream her single "Sunshine," streaming below, and see her live at Pianos on October 22nd. -Olivia Sisinni
