Dowsing at Red Room (7.20.23)

The last new album from Dowsing was 2019's Sky Coffin, and live performance from the group have been sporadic over the last few years. However, we were excited to see the announcement of four midwest dates this summer and a Festival appearance in Florida in the Fall.

Dowsing's midwest tour with the New Orleans band Shidded will kick off on July 21st at The Red Room.

Cōrduroy "The Perception of Sir Mise"

Cōrduroy recently released their debut album, The Perception of Sir Mise.

The trio is currently involved in the The Bitter Jester Music Festival Battle of the Bands, and performed as part of night one back on June 2nd. The Grand Finale takes place on June 25th.

Watermelon "Fast Food Queen"

Watermelon has released the second single, "Fast Food Queen", from their forthcoming self-titled debut album, which is due out on June 23rd via Dirt Cult Records.

You can catch Watermelon on July 1st at One City Tap (3115 S Archer Ave) with Meathouse, Mutant Strain, and Man Eaters.

Waverly Drive "Now I Know"

Chicago Native Phil Galloni (aka Waverly Drive) has released the title track, "Now I Know", from his forthcoming EP which is due out on July 28th.

This is the second solo EP from the now LA-based musician/studio engineer/producer following up last year's "Living in a Fantasy".

Buggin "Concrete Cowboys"

Hardcore group Buggin has released their debut full-length, Concrete Cowboys. The album's most recent single is called "Snack Run", and is accompanied by the video below.

The group will be touring Europe later this month and will be performing the NYC at the The Tribes of Da Moon festival in August.
