Single Premiere: Lia Caton "Turn the Silence Off"

We are proud to be able to premiere the latest single, "Turn the Silence Off", from Lia Caton.

This single was written by local singer/songwriter Anita Lin, but is masterfully performed by Caton.

You can catch Lia Canton at The Studio in Lockport on June 23rd.

Friko "Crimson to Chrome"

Friko have released a new single, "Crimson to Chrome", via Fire Talk Records.

This is the work of frontman Niko Kapetan, bassist Bailey Minzenberger, and drummer Luke Stamos.

The trio is out on a month long tour that kicked off back on 10th at Empty Bottle and will find them playing SxSW over the next few days.

Em Spel "Ghost Story"

Flutist & Multi-Instrumentalist Em Spel (aka Emma Hospelhorn) has released a new single called "Ghost Story". This is the first new music from Emma since the release of her 2022 album, The Carillon Towers.

On this new single she is joined by V.V. Lightbody (guitars), Mabel Kwan of Ensemble Dal Niente (Synthesizer), and Eric Ridder (drums).

Kelly Reed "The Blue"

Kelly Reed (F.K.A. i.e. kokoro) has released the first single, "The Blue", from her forthcoming debut album, Stupid Idiot, which is set to released on April 7th.

Reed is a classically trained multi-instrumentalist with over a decade of experience performing and creating music. This new project, her first as Kelly Reed, aims to deconstruct the experience of mental health from various real and imagined narrative perspectives.
